The Clayton County Fair Board will once again sponsor a Tractor and Truck Pull at the Clayton County Fair. Classes, entry fees and pay backs are listed below. Open Hot Stock Class must have a minimum of 4 tractors per class for full pay back. (pro rated if not minimum participation) See the rules and regulations below.

Rules and Regulations
- All contestants enter at their own risk. The Clayton County Fair Board is not responsible for damage to tractors, trucks, equipment or drivers.
- Pull is open to two wheel drive tractors and front wheel assist if front wheel is not engaged.
- Farm and antique tractors must be stock. This includes hitch, PTO and hydraulic system.
- Antique entries must run stock RPM’s.
- Farm stock & Open Farm stock will be limited to 3,000 RPM’s.
- Maximum height of hitch is 20 inches. Hitch is to allow hitch point to be 18 inches beyond centerline of rear wheel. Hitch is to allow free swing of the sled hook to be legal.
- Front weights must be part of tractor. Rear weights must not interfere with sled and hitching of sled.
- Must have 12 inches by 12 inches opening between rear weight to hook chain safely.
- Anything dropped from the tractor while hooked to the sled will disqualify the tractor.
- Drivers will remain seated while pulling. Drivers will act responsibly on and off the track. Irresponsible actions will result in disqualification of both driver and tractor.
- Pullers must wear shirt and shoes.
- Anyone that pulls must exit thru the pit. NO ONE will drive back on the road.
- Pullers must furnish own clevis. 3 inch hole and at least ¾ plate.
- NO riders on or off the track. (trucks or tractors)
- Complaints must be made 2 classes before pulling.
- Must start with a tight chain.
- Cannot turn down first hook unless sled is reweighed.
- Tractors must stay in bounds at all times.
- Farm stock will allow pressed steer rims.
- No curved stacks or must be straight forward!!!!!
- Tractor may only run in one category.
- Judges decisions will be final. Written complaints only will be considered.
- 14-17 year old drivers may pull with written parental consent only.
- Trucks must stay in bounds at all times.
- Stock trucks must be street legal.
- Stock trucks must have 30 inch draw bar. Improved stock trucks must have 26 inch draw bar.
- Stock trucks must have proof of insurance in possession.
- Stock trucks must be licensed.
- Trucks are limited to one ton axles.
- Improved stock trucks may run headers, aluminum intake or carburetors, blocks, ladder bars and welded rear ends. NO fuel additive & non alcohol.
Track is covered in case of rain.
