The Clayton County Fair Board
Keep the Clayton County Fair experience alive for future generations! Join our Fair Board to contribute your energy and expertise to the direction and improvement of the fair. Contact our Fair Secretary for membership information.
Under the direction of the Fair Board, the new Jim Hosch Arena and new milking parlor was completed in 2009. The Jim Hosch Arena houses cattle exhibits during the fair and serves as a storage facility during the off-season.
Thank You. . . to the many individuals and organizations whose financial contributions and volunteer efforts support our fair celebration. Without your continued support, the Clayton County Fair would not be what it is today.

The Jim Hosch Arena and Milking Parlor

The Jim Hosch Arena is dedicated in memory of long-time director of the Clayton County Extension Service, Jim Hosch. The facility will provide much needed housing for cattle exhibits and a new milking parlor during the fair season. The high ceiling and manually-controlled curtained windows will assure a comfortable atmosphere for fair exhibitors and their animals. During the off-season the arena will be used as a storage area for vehicles, campers, trailers and boats. See storage information.
